RichardGretton (2628), Leicestershire, England Jul 19, 2008 Bottle. Blond beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly hopped, and the flavour is strongly dry and hopped. Overall an average beer.
Ethereal (894), London, Greater London, England Aug 9, 2008 Cask at GBBF 08. Yellowy amber. Pronounced apple flavour at the start of the sip and then lots of floral hops. Good bitter finish to round things off. A very drinkable golden ale. cluny6 (65), Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England Jul 30, 2008 Pours a cloudy, hazy golden with abundant yeast. Mellow citric taste, not very complex or spectacular. Watery, somewhat bland in the mouth. This is a blond summer ale which should only be taken if you are very thirsty and rather have an ale than water. Refreshing but not very fullfeling. harrisoni (5130), Ashford, Kent, England Jun 6, 2008 Cask handpull at Cambridge BF 08. Gold with thin off white head. Drinkable golden beer. Easy drinking. Decent balance, orange tangerine satsuma fruit. Just enough malt. Easy drinking quaffing summer ale. Bov (4623), Bienne, Switzerland Jun 2, 2008 Updated: Jun 4, 2008 courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear and pale golden-yellow colour; no foam left; very discrete citrusy aroma; very fizzy, poor malt body with a late tartness; aftertaste of citrus lemonade
