Jan 2, 2009 Cask at the Fur & Feather (the brewery tap), 24th Dec 08. Darkish amber with a small head. Strong caramel flavour, some dark fruits. Smooth palate. Some orange peel, but needs more spices!

Jan 9, 2008 Pours dark amber with a white head. Aroma has a b it of carmel. The taste is slightly bitter with a smooth finish.

Jan 16, 2007 A dark brown coloured beer with a thickish off-white head. A light, malty nose, caramel, chocolate with a little spice. The taste is bitter sweet, malty, with the caramel aspect coming through to a slightly cloying finish. (Cask - The Ancient Mariners, Old Hunstanton, Norfolk).
