Cask at Farnham Beer Festival 2007. Colour is a dark golden colour, with a small white head, Fruity nose with notes of orange, dried apricots and earthy hops. Initially malty taste turning fruitier with notes of orange, apricots and a nice dash of earthy hops in the finish. Rather dry, light to medium body. Quite tasty and nice session bitter, actually.

On tap at the Ship Centurian in Whitstable High Street. Pulls up very light, pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of pine and lemon, which carries through to the taste, along with young wood. Very refreshing pint that packs a lot of flavour into a little ABV. Almost a little sour (but in a good way). Nice first pint on my brief trip back home!

Cask, Cellar Bar, St Andrews. An orangey chestnut pint, bit hazy, some sediment settles through, fluffy white head. Hoppy nose, bit straightforward. Some malty sweetness in the taste, nicely balanced with hops. Some fruit and grass here. Pine cone aftertaste in the mouth. Very average.

Bottle. Hazy, orangey amber with a lot of sediment and a decent head. Grassy hop aroma. Bitter flavours, touch of toffee and fruity hoppiness, dry. A fairly average bitter.

Sampled at the Medway Beer Festival 2006 on 18/11/06 - Fairly lightish in colour and bland tasting - very little flavour. I would expect better from Norfolk carrot crunchers: whilst backward, I’ve always seen them as real ale aficianados!

Mahogany in colour with very nice clarity. Small foamy layer. Fruity and hoppy profile in aroma and taste. Flavour has also got lightly honeyed malt. Flat and dry finish (Half pint on gravity at the stunning Dove Street Inn, Ipswich 21.09.2006).

Cask at The Fat Cat Ipswich 22 Sep 2006. Dark golden coloured. A tiny head. Fruity aroma. Attractive fruity and malty flavour. A cautios bitter aftertaste that lasts. Well balanced.

This pours a bright golden body, slightly orange, with a slender white head. The aroma is toffee with tea leaves and a lime twist. Quite dry. The toffee base sets the stage for a leafy bitterness that finishes off the drink. Slight lime aftertaste. Decent.
