Dark golden. Malty aroma. To taste this is a well balanced bitter with fruit and slight bitterness. Good ’ordinary’.

Cask at Cambridge Blue in Cambridge.

Pours a pale orange; this is a light bitter with a light, dry sour-grass flavor and a lovely long bitter finish, making for a very nice session bitter.

A light brown beer with a frothy white head. The nose is light and fruity with a hint of hop. The taste is dry, light and hoppy, with an underlying maltiness. The aftertaste is long and dry. cask, from the Woodforde’s beer tent at the 2005 Royal Norfolk Show.

Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are dry and fruity with tea and earthy hops. Flavours are dry and fruity with some underlying caramel malts. Lots of dry tea with citrus bitterness towards the finish. A traditional bitter that demands another glug.
