Cask Conditioned, at the Rose & Crown, Snettisham, Norfolk.
Pale golden bitter with frothy white head. Generous, fruity, hoppy aroma. A magnificent, quaffable bitter with good fruity bitterness and length. A per session bitter.

Original rating (8-4-8-3-16=3.9): Citrusy lemon-lime hops with fair cereal maltiness in the aroma. Clear copper-tan body is topped with a low but lasting, white head that leaves some nice lace. Grainy cereal malt flavour with pleasant fruity esters and light citrus hops leading to a light finishing bitterness. Medium body with moderately lively effervescence. Cask at GBBF 2005.
Rerate (5-1-3-1-6=1.6): Sweet fruity, simple aroma with some grassy hops apparent. Clear deep golden body with fizzy, white, fully diminishng head. Very sweet, fruity flavour has some tannins, caramel malt and mild finishing bitterness. Medium body is somewhat sticky with very low carbonation. Half pint glass. Allowed to warm from fridge temperature. Bottle (Gyle No. L33. State Line Liquors, MD, Oct-05).

Apr 06 Cask conditioned @ Giddy Bridge (JDW), Soton. Must have been more in the mood for this today floral hops. Earthy restrained bitter finish. Very tasty. 3.9
Aug 05 Cask conditioned @ Lion Inn, Theberton (Suffolk). Lots of delicately done flavours - toffee, malt, fruit and hops. Very drinkable with a smooth moreish finish. Overall though I just didn’t float my boat. 3.5

On tap at GBBF 05. I can’t believe I haven’t rated this previously - I only made notes just in case. Good Golden beer. Some nice light hoppiness and nectar in the falvour and mouthfeel. Great balance, enticing flavours. Good stuff all round - you could drink this happily under any circumstances.

Bottled: Golden coloured. Unclear. Huge off white light fluffy head. Citric, hoppy and light sour aroma. Flavour has caramel, herbs, light fruit and a fresh citrus undertone. Is quite thin bodied and watery. Ends on a sweetish flowery note. Quite refreshing. Thanks Jens.

Cloudy golden color. Very nice hoppy aroma, pine resins. The body is quite weak, dry, a bit sour; but it has a high hopping, aggressive, aromatic, metallic, with a pretty long final. Refreshing.

Bottle: Dark gold with a white head. Mild caramel malt with a earthy hop aroma. Sweet nutty caramel start, with a fruity, flowery hop finish. Medium soft body. Not bad! RR, Cask, Reading 06: Nice floral nose, some grassy hops. Very moreish. (Previously 6/3/6/3/12).

Pint poured at The George at London Bridge. Pours a light yellow, a small head that quickly disappears. Aroma has the right level of hops and is very fruity. Extremely smooth in the mouth and absolutely delicious to taste - those fruity hops coming through strongly. A shame I only had time for one, but I will be back for more! [Stuey - wish you could taste this, I’m sure you would want to model your Hopslapper of it]
