had the 4.2 US version...Pours a very light white yellow...some head but has some small red ’peel’ pieces floating, this is a no-no for any beer/cider!..but as i get into a couple of these beers the timidness shy’s away to a easy drinking tame refreshing cider! ...It has a very subdued flavour to go along with its very mild monkeyrisims (bitterness)..I like the fact that it really isn’t an in-your-face kind of drink! Smooth, calm, tasty... enjoyable in the end!

Thanks to JK for sharing. White head on this faint yellow beer. Apple nose with a decent cider body.

Green bottle. Unique cloying apple aroma, some honey and sugared and glazed apple pie. Body color somewhere between light yellow and clear lemon juice. Medium-strong carbonation, and - yes! - a slight white head. Slight. Taste is also cloying, and much as expected by the nose. Slight tarty sourness in a medium, oily body, no attempt at dryness here. Carbonation backs off and the mouthfeel is gentle. Memories of weak toothpaste. Better than all that Wyder’s junk I’ve had of late....

Apple and mystery meat aroma. Very light yellow color thin mouthfeel. Mystery of the meat is solved as it tastes of pork that has turned. Dreadful! To its credit, the balance between sweet and tart was nice, but I can’t get past the rancid meat. To be fair, I had tried it before and don’t recall it being this bad. Even then I didn’t consider it a good cider, so I’ll let the rating stand.

Rated 1/17/06: My neighbor left for Hawaii for the winter so it’s time to look after the house. I was told to empty the fridge so I proceeded and discoverd a few bottles of these in there. What the heck I’ll try it I said so here I am. I’m not a big cider fan to begin with but they can be decent from time to time. My biggest concern is that they are always too sweet for my taste. Well this one is an exception. Pours a clear pale yellow/white hue with little carbonation and no head. Smells slightly sweet. The taste is mildly sweet and fairly dry which is a nice feature in my opinion. This cider is awfully close to a white wine and I probably should pour the rest into a wine glass in lieu of the pint glass I’m using now. Anyway not my cup of tea but a solid hard cider I suppose.

Tap Ryans, Odense: Clear pale yellow with off white head. Fruity sweet apple aroma. Strong sour apple taste & acidicity with a sweet end. Easy drinkable & OK pleasant!
