Soft feel in the mouth. Flavor modulates gently and pleasantly. The more attention you pay, the more flavors to admire. Appearance is a pretty, pale gold, though rather flat. Best enjoyed outdoors where the sun may dance along in the glass.
I can't say enough good about Woodpecker. Must be experienced on tap. Bottled does not do it justice.

Very similar to a Woodchuck Amber with just a bit more aftertaste. Probably the most readily available cider in bars I think I’ve ever found. nfldraftman (2), USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 4, 2003 I got hooked on this stuff out of a tap, and obviously that's better than the bottled stuff. Crisp taste, not overpowering and pretty refreshing. It's not high in alcohol and isn't cheap so its more of a casual drink than a six-pack pounder. cheapdark (2024), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

Not only do I like cider but this is the first imported bottle. Up till now I have only drank the US ciders that are known to be very sweet. Wood pecker 12 oz green bottle with a twist off cap. I am quite apprehensive about this bottle because last night when I brought it in it had some ice crystals in it. Beautiful cap that says twist off but I just ripped my fingers up on it. Pop the lid with an opener and you get a sour whiff but pleasant. Nice fizz into the glass but no head. I can’t even remember the color of the fizz. Very pale yellow and crystal clear. Some bubble here and there but none streaming. It has a very enjoyable sour and sweet apple flavor during the initial taste surprise. No presence of alcohol noted whatsoever. Slight sense of carbonation on your tongue rapidly fades to flat. A very easy to drink repeatable session brew. This is not sweet like wine coolers, something different. Very enjoyable and as a result, better watch out how much you drink. Can’t wait to taste another import cider. Very nice and well liked. Finish is clean and dry without a linger except, possibly, a pleasant memory.
