Bottle. from trade with goldtwins. Good nose, sweet. Nutty, grassy, honey, grainy - buckwheat, graham cracker. Clean orangy copper color, small head that quickly faded to nothing, minor lacing. Medium body, oily mouthfeel, bitter sweet finish. Nice IIPA. Grew on me as I drank it. Though it seemed more like an IIPA as I drank it rather than themselves just saying IPA on the label. See that what RB calls it. Thanks goldtwins

12 oz bottle, via BA dano213. Pours a clear dark copper under a frothy two finger beige head that left nice lacing. Aroma is equally balanced between sweet caramel malt and a grapefruity citric hoppiness. Some toasted and toffee malts as well. Flavor is well balanced, fairly bitter up front but with a pretty hefty background. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little sticky with quite a bit of fizzy carbonation. This was just a basic IPA, but a pretty well done one at that.

Bottle. Orangy clear pour with a decent head. Big citrus grapefruit aroma. Fairly hoppy flavor, with some toasty semi-sweet malts. Not quite enough malt or body for an IIPA for me. Decent.

Post RBSG 06 - Orangey copper, thick khaki colored head. Nose was loaded with citrus, toffee, florals, and hints of grapefruit rind. Flavor was hopsided as well with more florals, grass, and grapefruit balancing well with the toasted toffee-like malt. Full bodied, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Suprisingly well done...

Bottle. This is your average, run-of-the-mill IIPA. No discernable hop profile stands out. Good and drinkable, but nothing special.

Bottle via CaptainCougar. The beer pours to a very clean looking amber body with a large rocky off-white head that disapates to a thiner head. Nice lacing is left on the glass. The aroma is interestingly hoppy. Dried tropical fruit mix. But, nothing stands out. The flavor is graham crackers, pine hops, light grapefruit rind, with some interesting malt profiles. Perhaps some special B and jaggery? Really malty for an IIPA. The palate is slightly bitter, but its not resiny or oily. Slick but moderate mouthfeel. I thought this was a pretty good beer. Quite drinkable.

Bottle... RBSG2006... Mostly clear amber ale with orange highlights and a small, frothy, off-white head. Good retention. Fruity, malty nose. Malty, fruity, then bitter flavor with notes of toffee, honey and grapefruit rind. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish. So much better than expected!

The bottle says that this beer is brewed in Greenville, SC, I guess it is actually brewed in GA though. Bright orange with a head that leaves islands of bubbles behind and laces quite nicely. The aroma is intiial sweet and a bit dusty but the hops start to bloom as it warms. The flavor is much more citrusy and bitter then the aroma leads on to. It ends witha whoosh and vanishes down your guller leaving a smile on your face. Pretty decent stuff.
