This BOLD flavored, extremely well balanced India Pale Ale is defined by premium hops and a fine selection of varying malts. At 8 1/2% by volume and brewed with three varieties of hops, Woodstock IPA TM is the new Imperial style ale with plenty of bite to match its bark!

Thanks Aracauna. Amber pour, small white head. Floral and citrus hop aroma with sweet crystal malts. Flavor is a lot of crystal malts, really sweet. Grapefruit hops as well as floral in the taste. The sweetness could be toned down a little and the hops are more on bitterness than flavor and aroma. Overal not a bad beer at all just wish it wasn’t so sweet.

Reddish tan color. Small tan head that lasts a while and leaves a pleasing lacing. Crystal clear. Nice looking beer. The aroma is classic cascade - floral and citrusy. Well balanced flavor, bitter but malty enough. Smooth finish. I would say its good but not great. Definately a pleasant surprise - I had low expectations about this one. It tastes like a darn good IPA, but I look for something just a little more over the top in a double.

Bottle thanks to KieferUGA. Poured a red-amber with small to white off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus, fruit, grass and light spice. Flavor reminded me alot of Big Hoppy Monster as a lower rater stated; just not quite as good. Flavor was much of the same as what was in the aroma. Easy drinking, and the alcohol was not present much at all.

Bottle from TheBeerCellar - thanks! Modest looking copper brew with a faint head. It comes across as a bit rough, with a powerful citrus character that actually leans away from crisp and gets close to tart. Very dry and acidic, in need of a bit more malt to it in my opinion. Solid brew, though.

From the looks and name of this, I assuemd it would be another less-than-average gimmick beer. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. Poured to a reddish copper with amedium off-white head that lasted well and left good lacing. Aroma was a very pleasant hoppy citrus (grapefruit) with grassy undertones and a hint of malt. As beer warmed, the 8.5% alcohol made itself known as well in the aroma. Mouthfeel was mostly bitter, somewhat tingly, with just a touch of sweetness. The flavor, as expected from the aroma, was mostly on the hoppy-grapefruit citrus side, again joined at mid-glass by the alcohol. This all blended very niocely into a long bitter finish.

Pours an amber color with a white head. Aroma is caramel, with some hops. Flavor is caramel, with a light bitter finish.

Gotta agree with KingpinIPA...this is a very good Beer that’s being underrated..it’s got everything a real Beer drinker could want...hops, malt, and ABV....in just the right amounts...an excellent, session style Double India Pale Ale. Reminds me of my beloved Big Hoppy Monster!! I’m blessed.

"At 8 1/2% by volume and brewed with three varieties of hops, Woodstock IPA is the new Imperial style ale with plenty of bite to match its bark!" And I’m sure you do, honey. I’m sure you do. Appearance: Pours a clear copper body with a foamy white-colored head. Smell: The aroma is a mixture of caramel malts and earthy, modest hoppiness, with an extra whiff of orange peel. Taste: This was a spicy meatball. Generous caramel malt flavors and citric hoppiness, along with a fruitiness that gives the impression of orange wedges. Dry, grainy finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with steady carbonation. Drinkability: Amply flavored brew that’s bitter, but not overly so. Could benefit with a bit more body and a fuller malt flavor, though.
