(12oz bottle, thanks KP) Crystal clear amber body with medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, grapefruit, floral, dusky. Taste is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit/floral, caramel. Medium body hides the alcohol quite well.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with goldtwins (thanks!). Poured a deep orange color with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of pine, grapefruit, earth, and light caramel. Tastes of pine, orange peel, spicy, caramel, and grapefruit. Not over the top bitter with a malty balance. Alcohol content well hidden. Very light lacing left on the glass.

Bottle sampled in May 2006: Pours a clear copper orange with a nice, thin-lacing off-white head. Fresh green piny grapefruity hoppy aroma has some pleasant toasty malty notes. Body starts with a sticky sweet caramel maltiness and good fresh bitter grapefruity hoppy balance. A nice IPA.

Bottle... RBSG2006... Mostly clear amber ale with orange highlights and a small, frothy, off-white head. Good retention. Fruity, malty nose. Malty, fruity, then bitter flavor with notes of toffee, honey and grapefruit rind. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish. So much better than expected!

Pours copper with an off white head. Smells of oranges, yogurt, pepper and lemons. Tastes of tea like hops, spices and some nice malt. Booziness is pronounced on the finish.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for sharing. Pale amber beer, thin white head. Earthy and honeyish flavour. Crackery malts. Some earthy and slightly orangey hops with some faint grapefruit coming through as well. A decent, if unremarkable IIPA.

12oz bottle thanks to CaptainCougar. Pours surprisingly dark for IPA, described best as a rusty cedar color. Clear (filtered?) and clean looking with a sharply constrasted tan head. Nose of toasted grains, moderately sharp, woody, nutty hops, some sap and some peanuts. Flavorwise mostly similar, with a nutty (peanut?) note, some astringent cedar, some toast, and some caramel malt flavors. A bit brash, not dank or juicy or floral like I prefer IPA, but still not that bad. Does not come off as 8.5% at all, for the record.
