12oz bottle from Barb’s Beer Emporium in Concord. Pours a translucent yellow body with a short-lived half inch of off-white head. Smells citrussy with graininess and butteriness. Tastes slightly sweet, grainy, with pine and citrussy hops hints in the background. Light in body with moderate carbonation. Kind of bland and not too impressive from a beer who makes some pretty damn good brews. Jblauvs (643), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

A bit weak flavor, some grassy hops and some caramel malt but rather thin. not impressed MartinT (5080), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 30, 2009 My Bottom Line:
This crisp yet slightly flawed Golden Ale had me going with its crunchy pale malts balanced to wooden, leafy hops, but a nagging drop of diacetyl kept showing up every sniff or so.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam decorates the misty yellow blond.
-The hops were also a tad citrusy.
-The wooden hops provided decent bitterness.
-This remained very drinkable throughout. If that touch of diacetyl hadn’t been around, this would have been a nice quencher.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 23, 2009 Clear straw pour with one finger white head. Despite medium to high carbonation levels, the head dies down rather quickly. Aroma has some up from biscuit sweetness with a very mild hop profile and hints of grain and fruity esters. Toasty notes barely come in as well. Flavor starts and finishes with sweet malt. Middle is comprised of some grain astringency. Palate is a bit astringent, ending slightly dry and clean. Pretty thin. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 25, 2009 Draft at brewpub. Multiple tastings. I have had everything they have to offer as we come here often for dinner while in the area. As with their food, the beer is OK but nothing spectacular. In fact, most of their beers are in my opinion, sub-par. Wasn’t impressed with this one. green (187), Boston, Massachusetts, USA
