The look was typical of a traditional Pilsner, with a very clear, pale yellow body, lots of bubbles, and an average sized but durable head. Aromatically it was not as clean and hoppy crisp as I like a Pilsner to be, with a sweet, lemony scent, and a touch of DMS. The taste was average, with a refreshing, but a little muddy profile. The lemon twist effect was a bit overdone to be to my liking, and the lingering hop bitterness was metallic rather than spicy. This would turn out to be a good thirst quencher on a hot summer day, and the remainder of the six pack will certainly come in handy while I hang out on the porch. If they could hop it up a notch, and clean up the slight off flavors, this would be so much better. ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA

Zesty aroma with malt, hops, toast and grass notes. Very watery flavor with some slight toasty malt flavors. Something about the malts and yeast seem to clash together. Clean, dry finish. pineypower (1108), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA

Aroma doesn’t have much going on some malt. Taste isn’t overlly strong, decent amount of hop on the taste. Rather generic, but not a bad summer beer beastiefan2k (1607), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA

Aroma is weak, just get a bit of hop presence. Taste is weak as well. I do not really get anything, just a light malt and citrusy/lemony hop taste. I mean if one is trying to make a smooth beer than this would be it but there really isnt anything worthwhile about a beer like this. Or maybe I just do not get Pilsners? Mouthfeel is fine though, the one upside. mrindex (2), Smyrna, Georgia, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2006 Bought at a package store in Marietta, GA, where Woodstock people were doing a promotion. Picked up this one out of the cooler and drank it as soon as I got home. After working outside all day in 90 degree weather, this was a refreshing way to cool down. Later in the evening, tried the Woodstock IPA, which is another solid choice. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Aroma has some light malt, some grassy hops. There is a light bitterness with some pale malt, maybe a little lemony. I’ve had better, but it wasn’t bad. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA
