It’s a slightly hazy amber with a moderate off-white head. The flavor starts with moderate caramel and some faint fruitiness. The finish is loaded with toffee and some muted citrus hops. Full bodied with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA

Slightly cloudy amber with creamy beige head. Aroma is sweet dough, citrus, red fruit, some grapiness, nice. Sweet citrus flavor, alc, dough, red fruit, grapiness, nice. Medium and light syrupy with a little burn. It still tastes young amazingly. deyholla (733), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 28, 2009 On tap at MBG Summer Festival, the 2006 version of the beer. Poured a dark amber gold with beige head. Sweet malts dominated the aroma with a bit of underlying spice. Flavor was full of sweet malts but a bit of a fruit flavor developed towards the finish. It was a bit thin on the tongue as well.
