Smooth, with more sweet malts than expected for a pilsner. Finishes dry with a bit of yeasty fruitiness. Pretty straightforward, but not a bad choice. wilkie (1191), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

and quite tasteless. Crisp finish, with a bit of malt thrown in. Okay for style, but I don’t
really like the style.

I’m not a huge pilsner fan, mostly coz I think there’s never enough malt taste, but there is with this one. Nice, classy. bierkoning (6087), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 16, 2005 Slightly malty, hopbitter flavor with a longish bitter aftertaste. Tasty pilsener, but doesn’t exceed the "normal" German standards. Decent and reliable. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Apr 15, 2005 This had just arrived at Andy’s. I love to find fresh German pils, for it is so rare. Pale yellow, clear, nice fluffy white head. The hops were very present in the nose, along with a touch of hay and maybe even a little sulfur. Flavor is nice and fresh with flavor and bitterness. The sweet malt comes through nicely. Love those noble hops. No oxidation present. Too bad it is tough to distinguish a fresh bottle from an old one without opening it up, for I would buy this again if I knew what I was going to get. Dopplebock1538 (71), Sanatoga, Pennsylvania, USA

4.9% ummm, i think not. A little stronger.
