Tap at Laschet’s. Definitely what I would expect from a German pilsener. Malty sweet with a mild bitterness, very different from a Bohemian. Clean and nice, though a bit vegetal.

12oz bottle: Nutty yellow pour with a soft white head that falls quickly into a thin film on top. Hay, caramel and honey malts are blended nicely with a healthy dose of grassy hops in the aroma. The balance continues to the body where more honey and caramel notes come forth, in harmony with the mildly bitter hops. Very drinkable and a pretty darn good example of the style.

Draft. Tastes like a regular old pils, not a whole lot to distinguish it from the rest of the pack.

Now I know this beer should take a while to pour but somehow the folks at Zum want to serve it the American way. Regardless, the one inch head doesnt stay for long. There’s a nice honey and grassy aroma. The flavor has a nice crispness, almost bordering on sweet but this beer is too well made to taste crappy. The fresh hop flavor is quite tasty.

Big body pilsner! Golden, sweet honey hints. Bitter, but beautiful. On tap at BURP CASTLE!

Green bottle 330 ml
Appearance : Clear golden look with fine carbonation , medium-large snowy with noisy bubble white top. Good lace produced.4-
Nose : Soapy mineral aroma with hint of spice , softer sweet malts at bottom. 6-
Flavour/Palate : Bitter with hint of black pepper. Soft malt is shown but here is secondary , bitter , green hopping. Quiet aggressive for European sample. With time you might forget effect of travel and green bottle to enjoy it. For me I prefer softer more balanced lagers of Bohemia than this rougher northern brother. For me this brew lacked harmony

A nice blend of hops with a slight taste of grain. The aftertaste is not too great, it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. Overall an alright import.

Bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a large white head. Light lacing. Aroma is grain, herbal and grassy hops, and light skunk. Flavor is herbal hops and light grain. Light to medium body. A decent Pils
