Bottled: Transparant blackish. Tiny little head. Some liqourice and chocolate in the nose. Watery and slightly bitter flavour. Some not too pleasant bitterness in the end. A pretty boring and forgettable stout.

Reddish-black coloured stout under a large tan-coloured head. Head fades to lace. Aroma of dark malt, some faint toastiness and even fainter hops. Lacks many of the complexities of other stouts I've had. Very creamy in the mouth, good body. Tastes similar to the smell. Medium length finish with some lasting bitterness. Slightly metallic but not unpleasantly so. Not a bad beer, but not a great one either.

Near black with a two tone head of tan bubbles. Weak coffee, caramel, toffee, toasted malt aroma; with an accent on weak. Syrup of tar flavors. Do I need at expound? OK, not a stout, maybe a strong mild at best. This one does not even warm up well. Points for a great label?

Bottled. Fresh aroma, lightly hopped with a hint of butterscotch. Very dark brown color, brown head, fair lace. Blackcurrant, roasted, light sweet, blackberries in the finish. Sandy dry, medium smooth. Just a light stout and that’s it.

Dark clear brownb ale with a thick light oka head. Light sweet chocolate aroma with vanilla notes. Watery stout with diluted chocolate and some light bittering hops. Rather boring. LCBO.

500 ml clear glass bottle. Black licorice color, thick lasting tan head and thick lace. Simple, sweet chocolate candy aroma with a touch of vanilla. Dark chocolate in the mouth, licorice and a hint of mint, late finishing bitterness, thin body, a bit of unpleasant lactic sourness...a mixed bag, but OK overall I guess, not undrinkable anyway.

Chalky roastiness and licorice and chocolate in the aroma. Darkest brown with thin tan head that recedes to partial cover. Sweet milk chocolate flavour with mint and licorice notes and some light roasty bitterness in the salty finish. Smoky character to the aftertaste. Medium-light body is perhaps a touch watery. Bottle (clear).
