Nice color, average head, burnt aroma. Blandly bitter with no special flavor coming out. Some coffee flavor but mostly burnt.

There isn't much aroma at all in this. Maybe a faint roastedness. Extreamly dark redish amber when held up to the bright afternoon sun. Small head. There really isn't anything too special about this. Light burnt roastedness in the flavour. Mainly watery in the mouth.

Great appearance in both bottle and glass. The nose is quite absent however but for a faint aroma of roasted malt and some slightly coffee flavour. The taste is better at least in the sense that it does demonstrate some good stout qualities but for mine this falls short in mouthfeel and ABV. The promised broom full of hops also fails to sweep me off my feet. Perhaps as my ratebeeriness grows I find I prefer higher ABV beers in styles that should be assrtive and strong. The Pommie penchant for low alcohol is sometimes a negative as is this one.

Bottle (from Sainsburys). Quite a thin beer with an indistinct roast malt flavour - seems like just enough to add colour. Entirely forgettable.

Very dark color with bubbly froat. Very thin watery body and flavour. Absolutly nothing special and NOT worth 22 Dk-kr.

A stout that comes in a clear bottle... almost black in colour with a small beige head. The aroma is dominated by the roasted malts. Flavor is almost smoked with notes of coffee. Palate is rather thin.

Bottle. Poured black, but held to the light and it appears more of a dark brown. Very off-putting aroma in the each of the three bottles I tried (on different occasions, bough from separate stores) – as mentioned, probably from the clear bottle. Flavour not bad, a certain nuttiness/licorice flavour that goes down pretty well. Slightly bitter finish, medium to thin body for a stout. Overall, average stout at best, but that smell will not bring me back.

Poured from the bottle, black in colour with a large rocky head. Not a strong aroma, marbe hints of grapes? A bit too bitter throughout the mouth and no really strong flavours coming through. Disappointing.
