Bottle from Metro Wines, Syston, Leics. Rather thin looking Stout, with no head. Tinny flavour, with a nasty aftertaste. Metal all the way, lacking thickness, or stickiness. Not great.

Too expensive. Pretty boring. A red stout. I would rather call it a typical English Bitter.

Like the other Wychwood beers I have tried so far, this is below average. Pours a nice dark color with a slight coffee aroma but the flavor was seriously lacking. Thin and metallic and too fizzy. Maybe this is what a lightstruck Stout tastes like? Damn these clear bottles!

Ruby-bown color I can see through, thin watery, with a weak roasty flavor, not even worth a try.

Slight coffee aroma, deep garnet, slim head. Weak coffee flavour, good bitterness, malt after taste. Dry, creamy and smooth. Seems more like a nut brown ale than a stout.

The first thing that stood out to me about this beer is how thin it is. You feel like you are drinking black water. The aroma was decent, with typical coffe tones, but the flavor was extremely weak. I give it props for cool bottle art - but that’s all!

I knew this beer would suck and I just bought it cuz the bottle looks kinda cool..smells like fermented playdough tears..the appearance was a darkish stoutish color gangraped by ghostly ruby shades..the flavor was a watery, bitterly roasted peanut shell of a concoction that stung with blahness..a lot of people gave this low scores on 'appearance'..but it looked pretty good to me added upon by the sweet bottle graphics...It wasnt offensive..although it did have metallic notes..but I've had much worse..although maybe not any worse stouts..

Black as night. Brownish lace, no head. Roasty malt aroma. Bitter. Not really a good choice, I don't think I'd get it again.
