rkuhnel (1131), Eureka, California, USA Jul 14, 2008 From 500 ml bottle from the back of my beer cellar consumed at 55 degrees this poured dark gold with a fat head that lasted a long time and left good lacing rings. Good start visually. Nose is malts and kind of a stale citrus hops. Mouthfeel medium Flavor is kind of bland with a hint of ripe fruit. Finish is bitter, but and odd bitter. This is drinkable, but overall a little odd tasting, and not something I would seek out again.
fidelis83 (46), Clinton, Iowa, USA Oct 5, 2008 Pours orange gold with a 1 finger white head that lasts. Aroma is fresh cut straw, with a sweet maltiness and a slight citrus hoppiness. Flavor starts off with a nice hop bitterness, citrus, melon, grass, and cooked spinach. Finish is more bitter hops and a slight resiny taste. Oddly enough despite the low alcohol content it is noticeable right at the end. KimJohansen (4285), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 27, 2008 Clear golden with medium white head.
