thehinge (225), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Jun 18, 2008 Floral aroma. Light orange pour with a quickly dissipating head. Slightly sour malt taste on the front end. Tastes more like a lager than an ale. Awkwardly bitter finish...kinda soapy. Not a drain pour, but I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
weeicemon (126), Lancaster, California, USA Oct 11, 2008 Pours cloudy with cidery, pungent nose. More cider with initial mouthful that works into a sour bitterness. It’s almost like this beer was orginally made to be an IPA. but was changed at the last minute. The effort is there but overall a let down. fidelis83 (70), Clinton, Iowa, USA Oct 5, 2008 Pours orange gold with a 1 finger white head that lasts. Aroma is fresh cut straw, with a sweet maltiness and a slight citrus hoppiness. Flavor starts off with a nice hop bitterness, citrus, melon, grass, and cooked spinach. Finish is more bitter hops and a slight resiny taste. Oddly enough despite the low alcohol content it is noticeable right at the end. KimJohansen (4299), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 27, 2008 Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet aroma with malt, fruits and floral hops. Sweet flavour with floral hops, caramel and malty notes. Finished slightly bitter. mcsquint (22), , Missouri, USA Sep 22, 2008 Poured a dark golden color with 1 finger white head. Light malty, fruity aroma. Head disspated quickly with little lacing.Sweet malt and somewhat fruity flavor. Not much carbonation.Sweet and hoppy finish. Not one of my favorites. Jonte (403), Gothenburg, Sweden Sep 21, 2008 Bottle. Golden color with a white head. Aroma: Sweet malt, hay, honey, fruitiness and bitter hops. Flavor: Sweet malt, hay, grass, honey, and citrus. Bitter and hoppy towards the end. Drinkable but a bit boring and one-dimensional.
