Gold of body and smelling of a bushel of fresh apples, this sparkling cider tastes like Mott’s apple sauce, which I like, but eat with a spoon rather than drink. Refreshing enough.

Pale straw with a quickly evaporating, soda like, white head. Very dry apple and actually a touch of grain in the nose. Very sweet in the start. With a apple juice and white soda mix. Gets drier and has some woody qualities as in passes into the linger. The linger is the worst, with a nearly rotting apple flavor. Can’t say much about this one.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Poured clear amber color with a small white head with minimal lacing. Aroma and flavor of apple juice. Light body with a dry texture. Refreshing drink. Worth drinking once or over ice to quinch your thirst.

No head. Body is very light yellow/green, almost colorless. Aroma is fairly strong sweet apple, very similar to green apple candy, not like apples. Flavor is heavily sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation, moderately astringent. Smells and tastes artificial, like drinking a piece of Jolly Rancher candy. Blech!

Sounds like a soda as it fizzes when you pour it. Very light gold color with quick bubbles. Aroma is thin. Has a little bit of tartness to it. The taste is dry enought to keep it interesting. This was decent for a macro cider.

Strange aroma. There’s apple, but my nose gets the same physical feeling as imparted by a light whiff of chlorox. Very light gold color with no head worth mentioning. A bit thin in body; almost creamy carbonation. The flavor is mature apple, with very little sugar. The finish is not really astringent, but it’s fairly dry. The mouth is left as though it were sucking green and gold apple skins - from ripe apples. Good drink. Shame my nose thinks it’s weird.

Picked up single 12-oz bottle at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear golden apple cider with a thin bubbly ring and no head. Aroma of sweet apple cider and apple skin, some yeast and a touch of leather. Taste is light bodied, semi-tart with flavors of tar apple and apple skin with a finish of semi-dry character and some alcohol texture.
