Friendly tart aroma that approaches artificial sweet, but never quite gets there. It reminds me of the smell of fresh spring water. Crystal clear with hardly any color, reminds me of soda water. Delicious sweet flavor that is somewhat more than the personality of apple cider. Very nice carbonation, even after sitting for a while. Overall a very acceptable perry. Clean unadulterated fun. Wish it had less additives. Has some background hints of harsh alky peeking thru. Finish? It’s gone? Permeating volatile olfactory on the finish.

Picked up single 12-oz bottle at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear pale golden straw beverage with no head except for some thin bubble ring on the glass edge. Aroma of sweet pear fruit, a touch of apple cider and dried yeast. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with some sweet pear and apple flavors. Finish is just as sweet as the flavor but with a medicine chemical aftertaste.

It smells tart. It looks like a pale lager. It tastes tart and dry with a little bit of pear. Its really light, but I could see this giving me an incredible head ache if I had more than a few ounces.

Draft/Pint glass: Snappy but faint, nose catching aroma. It’s the color of pee after several beverages, extremely pale yellow. The flavor is sweet but not too sweet, and just dry enough to make it palatable. For not being a cider drinker, this was ok. I would probably go with an apple in the taste of Strongbow or an Original Sin instead of the Pear. My wife said it reminded her of a child’s bubble bath.

This one was sweet, it was OK at first it was just to perfume for me. It reminded me of apple cider they give out at weddings.

This was my first pear cider and I still like it, but prefer others (when I drink cider, which is now rare). It is fairly crisp and has a decent flavour, but the flavour is very mild and rather sweet, rather like a sweet, fruity white wine. I usually prefer something with more body and a stronger flavour. The appearance is the weakest factor and even for a cider it is disappointingly light with little colour or visible body.
