Aromas of pear, white wine, light vinegar and shoe leather. Flavor is both sweet and tart with fruitiness and there is very little of the stomach-souring effect associated with ciders. A good one.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 5, 2006 Says dry pear cider, but I found it to be quite sweet, but not cloyingly so. Very bright and sparkling mouthfeel. Apple and pear notes with a slight alcohol peppery finish. Quite nice actually! Tmoney99 (4771), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 30, 2005 On tap, everywhere in San Francisco. I wither had this at the sports bar near the hotel, or the place we went to dinner (Palomino?). It doesn’t really matter I imagine. Thin clear bubbly appearance. Nice pear aroma. Nice sweet pear taste that becomes cloying about halfway through the pint glass. Thin. I love pears, so I didn’t mind this at all! Cornfield (4961), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 28, 2005 An extremely pale yellow and headless with light carbonation, this has a very sweet pear aroma, like an overly ripe Bosc. The flavor isn’t as cloyingly sweet, but carries a lighter version of the nose into the mouth. The finish is sweet yet somewhat acidic, making it fairly resfreshing when all is said and drunk.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 23, 2005 Very plae yellow color with no head. Almost greeish in tint. The aroma is over ripe pears with a little hint of vinous character. There is a sharp, astringent smell that reminds me of mild balsamic vinegar. The taste is tart with a little bit of pears and some apples. This is mild and crisp in its finish. Not too bad since it is not overly sweet. 0o9i (335), Reno, Nevada, USA
