Cask Stillage at the Metropolitan Centre, Bury 18/11/2005 Brewed to commemorate part of the Welsh Marches History according to the programme notes so this is possibly a one off or irregular brew. Golden coloured beer with some hoppiness and subtle fruity and floral aromas. Slight dryness and bitterness in the finish.

Bottle conditioned. This one went down really well, right down the sink. Initial ripe fruitiness in the nose developed into a sourness in the mouth that decame undrinkable after a few sips. I have now tried enough English bottle conditioned beers to have spotted the reason why so many of them are undrinkable. If I can spot it why cant the producers of these beers?
