Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Pale to medium gold with a small white head. Sweet hop aroma. A slight fruity sourness, however the hops predominate in taste and finish. I thought this lacked character and interest.

Cask handpull at Wenlock Arms. Gold beer with thin white head. Golden, strong ale along the Summer Lightning route. Decent hop kick on finish. Subtle citrus hop aroma, decent juicy malt in mouth leading to a Rowntrees fruit gum juicy tangerine finish. Some dryness on finish. Good golden ale.
