Bottle conditioned: a radiant pale amber colour, poured with a thick head, quite likely. Malty aroma, taste starts malt then hops kick in, unpleasant vegetable aftertaste.

bottle conditioned, from sainsburys, pretty unspectacular, no head to speak of, no real aroma either, slight taste of malt but very faint, not one to try again

Cask (GBBF 2006): Dark gold in colour. Flat. Simple clean malts and some light bitterness. Boring.

Cask@GBBF06. This was a terrible weak bitter or golden ale or whatever it was. Pretty much zero flavour, except for some grainy malt and maybe some hops. Weak.

Cask conditioned – handpump – GBBF. A light amber coloured beer with a sweetish creamy yet hoppy aroma. The taste is sweet and sickly. Some nail varnish. Heady and not too nice.

This bottled brew poured a small sized head of mostly lasting foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing and a golden brown colored hazy uncarbonated body. The aroma was mild with malty and hoppy notes. The mouth feel was tingly from start to finish with a malt hop after taste that favored the hops. The flavor was a mix of malt hops and mild dough bread.

Bottle picked up at SH Jones Bicester. A dark golden colour, that gave off some malt in the aroma but little else. Taste wise I thought this ok but a little bit thin despite the strength bit sweet and malty but nowt special.
