From bottle. This beer reminds of summer, a very pleasant aroma and makes me feel happy. I’m getting fruit, malt and a very pleasant aroma. The beer is very clear with a light golden appearance. I find this ale hard to distinguish, its sweet fruity taste struggles to take centre stage but its definitely in there somewhere. Almost has a lager feel, but definitely isn’t. Has a hoppy bitter after taste. Overall a very good bitter, easy to drink. A very pleasant ale. Like its name says, its your little friend. Butty Bach.

Pours a hazy orangish gold color. Aromas of malts, a touch of orange, and some yeasty notes. Flavor of minimal hopping, some grains, and light fruity aftertaste.

Bottle. Medium sized tan fizzy head that mostly diminished, decent lacing, no visible carbonation, transparent, and a gold hue. Nose was malty, sweet, hoppy, and some sour notes. Flavor was bitter, sweet and malty. Smooth mouthfeel. Light-medium body.

Sample BI Indy gathering 2/25/06 - Aroma is sweet, malt, and banana. Pours yellow-brown with small head and good lacing. Flavor is pretty lame. Palate is thin and clean. This is why I don’t drink blondes.

Bottle. Golden beer with a steady head. The aroma is fruity and slightly peppery, and the flavour is nicely dry and slightly fruity. Overall a nice beer.
