Nice brassy-amber pour with 2 fingers of solid beige foam. Faded to layer of cream with nice lace. Aromas of bread, cider and malt. Some esters and diacetyl/over-ripe bananas in the background. Wonderful, complex flavor. Good malty start playing with a fruity apple and bread middle, the mildly bitter herbal finish. I tasted apples, cranberries, orange, lime, yeast, butter, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a meadow of green hay and wildflowers. Mouth feel was excellent, creamy but with a sprightly bit of carbonization that played on the tongue. My mouth felt clean and refreshed. Because of the low ABV and moderate gentility, this is, as the label says, a "friendly pint."

bottled: pours copper orange with haze slight tan head. not alot of CO2. nose is grassy or hay hops with some earth character. the mouth follows the nose with some citrus orange flavors. could be a little fuller but not bad and better then most of these rates show.

Sweet malty aroma, alittle fruity (banana, berries), vanilla. Cloudy orange-brown color with white head. Sweet malty flavor hints of cinnamon (english yeast). Not all that for the price, though.

Bottled. Amber in colour with a mild spice and sulphur aroma. Flavours are floral hop and buttery malts. Quite bitter and "chewy" like a decent IPA. Has a good chalk-dry finish.
