Bottle@The Rake. Deep amber-brown color, small off-white head. A bit cellary, caramelly and wineous nose. Some licorice, caramel, some harsh bitterness. Aftertaste has some licorice, caramel and grass. Ok.

Bottled@The Rake, London. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, spices, some fruity and floral hops as well as some wood. Flavour is caramel, some fruits, floral hops as well as mild spiced notes. Wellbalanced, and probably fits the Christmas foodtable rather well.

Bottle. Amber golden with fairly good off white head. Lightly spiced with a pretty hardcore sour dry bitter finish. Not overly christmassy and I didn’t care for it much. Finish was a little too harsh for my tastes. Not to say it was bad, just not very me like.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Clear, dark amber golden with a rough off-white head. Sweetish and lightly nutty nose. Medium body, burned caramel accents and nuts with some bitterness in the finish. 190209

Botella. Unclear amber colour. Mildly spiced toasty malt aroma. Good mouthfeel. Spiced and toasty maltiness in the flavour with a bitter pleasant finish.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a bit of nuts. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of toffee, fruit, and nuts, leading to a dry toffee finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
