Deep amber-brown color, small off-white head. A bit cellary, caramelly and wineous nose. Some licorice, caramel, some harsh bitterness. Aftertaste has some licorice, caramel and grass. Ok.

Aug 16, 2009 Bottled@The Rake, London. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, spices, some fruity and floral hops as well as some wood. Flavour is caramel, some fruits, floral hops as well as mild spiced notes. Wellbalanced, and probably fits the Christmas foodtable rather well.

Apr 12, 2009 Bottle. Amber golden with fairly good off white head. Lightly spiced with a pretty hardcore sour dry bitter finish. Not overly christmassy and I didn’t care for it much. Finish was a little too harsh for my tastes. Not to say it was bad, just not very me like.

sweet, slightly bitter,
flavor is spicy, caramel, hoppy, slight flowery, quite bitter in the end. nice. but real strange for a christmas brew.
