Commercial Description:
Cask, Seasonal, Winter;<br /> Dorothy loves Christmas, with all the cards that come in the post. Standing them up by the fireplace is the bit she loves the most. A chestnut brown beer brewed with seasonal spices to give a rich warm flavour.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Amber to chestnut with white head. Phew, this was ultra spiced for me, really strong cloves and cinnamon flavours which made my tongue go numb, like drinking neat toothpaste. The rest was lost for me sadly. Took me 2 more beers to get my flavour buds back.

On gravity at the Portcullis, Bristol 11/12/08. Pale chestnut in colour with a slight, off-white head. Huge clove aroma, evident feet from the glass, with some fruity malt in support. Flavour began vaguely sweet, before warming cloves and earthy hops, leading to a decent bitter finish. A good Christmas beer, which although pungently spiced was very drinkable. Good stuff.
