Bottle wife brought back from Wi. Has a spicey, fruity aroma. Red body when held to light and vitually no head to speak of. Flavor has a stong barley presence along with fruit and spice bitter. Left on palate is a laquer paste of spice and bitter. Filling beer and a warms the body.

Pint bottle pours pale brown with a short offwhite head that stays well. Aromas of slight caramel and brown sugar. Flavor is caramel, slight brown sugar, and slight bitterness at the finish. Palate is smooth and easy to drink. Pretty decent for a session brew and easy to drink. Somewhat dry at the finish.

Bottle from the Beverage Castle, Tampa. <P> Has a bit of a fresh scrubbed glass, cleaning solution aroma, but that is muted. Stronger aromas include fruit and malt and a bit of caramel and sugar. The body is an orange tinted dark brown and holds a well formed thumb thick head that is quite lasting and very substantial looking. Medium sweetness with some very noticeable alcohol that gives a sort of dry chemical bitterness. Some dark fruit notes and a suggestion of spice. Finishes with some hop bitterness. Fairly decent, but the alcohol seems entirely too harsh for a relatively low 6% abv beer.

Smells like feet or stinky cheese. Flavor is very watered down, but has hints of fruit, and a lingering aftertaste of hard sugars. It’s just not possible to get over the horrid smell.

Dark red with creamy head. Notes of sweet malt and carmel. Fairly sweet flavour that is quite malty with some fruity notes. A bit carbonated; sweet in front and mild bitter finish.

Thanks to Book_M_Dano for this. 16 oz bottle. Amber pour with a light head. There is not much aroma (spice and malt???). The flavor is a light bitterness (in an English way) with well balanced non-descript malts. The body is creamy with a full and creamy mouth feel…Very boring.

Pour is a dark hazy red with an average white head. Aroma is a nice mix of spice and cinnamon. Flavor is also a nice mix of flavors. Some hops show up but a nice spice hits the tounge along with some dustyness and caramel malts. A nice brew to sip on a cold night.

Absolutely no head. Some pretty dry hops, but mostly it just tastes flat. That said, its weirdly grainy flavor is still pretty good, just not great.
