Dark gold or pale amber. Big frothy white head. I just can’t define the aroma. Sweet cardboard? And the taste? Malt? Plus something else. What? Fruity sourness, I think, with some dryness at the finish. I’m totally confused after rating my first Doppelbock a few minutes ago...

From bottle. Lovely fresh fruity aroma just makes me want to drink it. Clear golden appearance with good carb and slight head. A well balanced beer with a flavour of fruit and a nice bitter palette. Overall i enjoyed this alot, a very good beer.

Bottle. Clear Golden beer, malty and hoppy aroma but really nice citrus tang crisp bite to this beer and with a slight sourness leading to a dry finish. Can’t say that I have ever been to struck on Wye Valley but my opinions may change a little as this really is a very good bottled beer.

Bottle. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is dry and light and the flavour is very dry with a touch of fruity sourness finishing with a deep dryness. Overall an average to below par beer.

Cask@The Roebuck, Richmond, London. Quite nice. Some juicy, earthy bitter hops, and a dry finish. Fresh, with some light aromatics, summery sort of ale, pleasant, easy drinking.
