Bottled from Sainsubury’s beer ’festival’. Dazzling bright gold, lumpy white head, bit of a buttery nose with a crunch hop, creamy sweetness with a dry edge, good hop finish, will stock up on some of these for the summer.

Bottle conditioned from Sainsburys. Gold with a good lasting fluffy white head and gentle condition. Pleasant peppery hop and low roastiness in the nose, good mix of hops and caramel in the mouth, some yeasty bitterness and lingering hops in the finish. Much improved from the last time I tried it.

Bottle conditioned from Sainsbury’s. Golden, lively, good head and lacing. Refreshing hoppy golden bitter. Pleasant.

Bottle from Sainsbury, Birmingham City Centre. Cloudy brown yellow, with a citrus hop aroma. Impressive crusty head too. Blandish taste, some slight sourness, in a nondescript, malty centre. Bitter finish which is good. Solid, but not outstanding.

A mid amber colour ale. It has a light sugary aroma and a mid hopped taste. Rather sweet and lacking a little bitterness it is however very drinkable and well worth trying.

Medium head. Orange and a bitterness which tastes metallic to me. I was expecting more from a bottle conditioned beer.

Starts with a weak orange nose, orange color, little head, leaving laces on the glass. Bitter grapfruit taste, but soapy - gosh - yuck - terrible.

Nondescript nose, hazy amber-orange color, low tight head after a spongy pour. Thin toasted malt body. Sharp, wild hop finish that is not good. Bad paper-like aftertaste - metallic and chemical-like. Aweful stuff.
