Pale gold, good mouthfeel, interesting malt and hop flavours. A true English pale ale

Cask@Battersea BF. Light hops, soft malt, watery body. Not much happening, mouthfeel is thin and lacks flavour. Finish is crisp and short. Boring.

Gravity Cask @ Battersea Beer Festival. Pleasantly citric hops and gentle smooth malts. Not overly assertive but with plenty of hops.

Cask gravity at Battersea BF 2007. Gold colour with thin white head. Decent citrus hop aroma. Decent in mouth, some more citrus. Bit of hay on aroma. Very decent gold/blond ale, ticks all the boxes. Some good citrus on the finish. Bit of tangerine.

A Sim Rate (on tap at Battersea BF): Hoppy and sweet aroma. Smells like a Belgian blonde. Not much flavour. Slightly lager-like hoppy flavour. No finish.

Lagery clear gold pint. Mellow, creamy, bready. A honeyish yeasty hoppiness. Maybe a nibble of lemony citrus. Clean, crisp and nicely balanced. Another lip-smacking pint courtesy of Lloyd’s, Nuneaton.

Gold/straw colour with a big creamy head. Malty/straw scent. Quite thin and slightly bitter. Some hoppiness, but with berry fruit and some lemon. Very nice bitter finish.

Cask@Beer Hunters, Pori. Golden clear color, big foamy head. Citrusy hoppy nose. Citrusy, grassy hoppy pale ale. Light but nicely balanced. Long bitter aftertaste. Someway similar to WPA, maybe because of pale malts profile?
