Light roasted flavour of caramel and liquorice.

Dec 13, 2006 On tap at the Wynkoop Brew Pub. Poured a darker reddish / black color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of nuts, roast, and light smoke. Tastes of nuts, roast, chocolate, and smoke.

Nov 13, 2006 on tap-pours a tan head and black color. Aroma is smoky. Taste is smoky, some hops bite. Good carbonation.

Oct 4, 2005 Tiny off-white head tops the clear cola hue. Muddy old coffee and faint almond maltiness pair along with grapes to form the nose which is pretty linear with the palate, the latter is very thin and rather tart. The usual tart/tobacco and roasty combination accompanied by more residual sugars and diacetyl than I’d wish for make this a rather weak example.
