| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2006 On tap at the Wynkoop Brew Pub. Poured a darker brownish / orange color with a small sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel, roast, chocolate and I swear I was getting some type of spices in there. Sweet finish. Light lacing left on the glass. JorisPPattyn (5183), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 1, 2003 (draught) Very deep brown; dark-yellow head, stable and lacy. Very little nose, disappointing. Burnt tobacco & chocolate; sweetish but not cloying. Virtually no bitterness. Well-bodied, but much thinner texture. Alcohol remains well-hidden. This is disappointing, most of the Wynkoop range I had. What were they thinking of? Even for a brown ale, 8+ % ought to account for something. Ernest (4495), Boulder, Colorado, USA
