(09/2006. Draft.) Decent aroma of raspberry on a deep, murky red beer. Flavor is a little-bit "seedy". Palate is medium bodied. Nice raspberry flavors, but not enough sour notes.

10.02.05 Tap at brewpub. Hazy, opaque, but vibrant burgundy red color with a thin fizz of pink head. Aroma smacks of fresh berries, light, sweet. The stuff is surprisingly dry and clean to me. Not too sweet at all, lingering tartness reminds of the real deal. Acidity makes it refreshing and might go great with a spicier meal. I liked this stuff.

Corps d’épaisseur moyenne, texture presque aqueuse, puissante carbonatation. En fût à la brasserie, Septembre 2005.

Draught, Wynkoop, Denver. Head is pink, mostly diminishing. Body is dark purple-red. Aroma is trace malt (toasted grain), with a note of raspberry. Flavor is heavily sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Simple and sweet, just the way a lot of people like fruit beers (think New Glarus Raspberry Tart).
