I’m pretty sure I saw the ABV at 8.2% on the menu. Muddy, pinkish hue crowned by a diminishing head. Heavily grainy nose, bready, soapy and loaded with raspberry potion. The wood undertones once again hint at oxidation while tea-like tannins fight off the biting carbonation. Vinous, tart and simplistic fruit beer.

On tap at Wynkoop when in town for GABF 2005. Dark red, very hazy with a thin, pink head. Aroma is very light, some cherries and raspberries. Wow, is this stuff violently carbonated - FAR too carbonated to enjoy. Underneath all of those bubbles is a light raspberry tartness and some heavy sweetness. Needs less carbonation, more brett.

An unclear red beer with a small disappearing red head. The aroma is dominated by cherries. The flavor is sweet with loads of cherries - though artificial. The end is dry - but where is the sourness???

Poured a brownish red color with a light pink head. Aroma of tart cherry and brett. Weak cherry taste with a touch of tartness. Way too much carbonation. I believe I will hit another brewpub next time in Denver.

Red like a smoothie just out of the blender,no head.Is this a beer or a cocktail? Slightly tart with a touch of raspberries.

On tap at the brewpub, 2003: This looks like a chalky red fruitshake. Tart berry aroma, medium bodied, ends slightly sweet. Interesting and not really a good example of the style.

A very nice look to this beer: dark-red, burgundy in colour and opaque! No head at all, but still great looking. Subtle raspberry aroma leaves you waiting to take the first sip. Subtle raspberry taste with some malt background. Fairly watery, not too great...but interesting. Not too comparable to the framboise lambics, so don't expect one! Worth a try if you come out to the brewpub, though. Overall this is below average for the style. I had this on tap at the brewpub in Denver, Colorado on 12-August-2003.
