The flavor is sweet with loads of cherries - though artificial. The end is dry - but where is the sourness??? kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 4, 2005 I’m pretty sure I saw the ABV at 8.2% on the menu. Muddy, pinkish hue crowned by a diminishing head. Heavily grainy nose, bready, soapy and loaded with raspberry potion. The wood undertones once again hint at oxidation while tea-like tannins fight off the biting carbonation. Vinous, tart and simplistic fruit beer. Ernest (4499), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Head is pink, mostly diminishing.
Body is dark purple-red.
Aroma is trace malt (toasted grain), with a note of raspberry.
Flavor is heavily sweet, moderately acidic.
Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic.
Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation.
Simple and sweet, just the way a lot of people like fruit beers (think New Glarus Raspberry Tart). goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Weak cherry taste with a touch of tartness. Way too much carbonation. I believe I will hit another brewpub next time in Denver. BeerandBlues2 (3225), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
