Nov 2, 2006 Good beer. Probably the best i had there. Soft and mild, so it may not score huge like so many of the overpowering IPAs. Milky/creamy texture a touch on the watery side, but falvrs were very good and an overall enjoyable beer.

Oct 15, 2006 Cask at the brewpub. Served at cellar temperature. Clear orange-red color with thin white head that laced the glass. Smelled of perfumy, grapefruity hops. Smooth medium bodied mouth feel with citrusy hop flavor and a strong malty caramel backbone. Ample bitter hop finish. Good IPA.

Oct 2, 2006 sampled at the brewpub. Aroma is citrus and floral hops for the most part. Taste is citrus and floral hops with an up front bitterness, decent malt backbone. lingering light bitter finish. A good English IPA.

Oct 2, 2006 On tap at the Wynkoop Brewery 9/27/06. Crystal clear copper color with thin head. Aroma dominated by hops and a little grassiness. Flavor is a good balance between malt and hops, english version for sure, but with more bitterness. A really good beer though maybe a bit too bitter in the finish, taking away from the nice balance.

Sep 24, 2006 Draft pint at the brewpub: Reddish amber with a light airiness and a sticky head. Slippery with a resiny hoppiness. Fairly understated and really unexciting ... almost TOO smooth.

Sep 2, 2006 cask at the brewpub. nice dark tan with a soap bubble like frothy head of white. aroma was citrus light orange with some watermelon and light brown sugar notes. tasted like a piece of bit o honey candy with bitter grass flavor dominating. a nice beer to drink after you wreck someones car and decide to quit your job because they expect a grand from you. fucking hell, whats next? someday i hope i tire of striving toward failure.

Aug 27, 2006 On tap at Wynkoop. Medium amber with thin head. Medicinal aroma, opens smooth with low-carbonation and a touch of malty sweetness followed by pretty bitter medicinal and herbal hop flavor that does not linger. IPAs are my favorite style but this one is too unbalanced for my taste.

Jul 21, 2006 Gooey orange goodness. Strong aroma of citrus, funky hop resins and cookie dough maltiness. Tongue zapping acidity, with some spicy hoppiness, sweet maltiness and a great creamy mouthfeel. A really decent IPA
