Grassy citrus aroma. Copper golden coloured hoppy and a little rich on the palate with some fruit flavour. Crisp and slightly dry full malt finish.

Oct 29, 2008 Draught at Wynkoop. Clear amber - white head. Nice clean hoppy, caramel, grainy, corn, fruity, dusty, light hay & straw, light wheaty, light roasted, dusty. Nice.

Oct 17, 2008 Draught at Wynkoop. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, cereal, meal), light hops (flowers), heavy yeast (sweat) with notes of grapes, pear, butter, and ginger. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness and acidity, moderate bitterness.

Sep 29, 2008 On tap @ Wynkoop poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of fruittiness, honey, light carmel and a hint of spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of apple, pear, honey, light carmel and a hint of spice with a smooth lingering sweet fruity finish.
Decent beer, sucky name!

Nov 1, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. Guessing this beer is somehow related to the DNC being in Denver this year. The beer pours a clear copper-orange color with columns of tiny rising bubbles. Medium thin foamy bone white head. Thin sheet of lacing. Aroma of sweet honey and hops, along with mild hops and ginger. Medium-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, honey and fruit plus some hops. The finish is toasted malt with a lingering fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.
