dWow. Not bad. Gold with faint ring of head. Chili peppers on the aroma. Well done chili. Spicy, but doesn’t turn the stomach.

Tap @ Wynkoop: Poured a hazy golden color with a small white head. Huge chili pepper aroma. Some malt is able to get through. The flavor had a malty start with a chili flavored middle. Wasn’t really spicy though.

hazy dark copper, wispy off white head, streaks of lace, hot spicy pepper aroma with just a hint of a malt backbone, malt flavor, nice pepper character is balanced by the malt rather than taking over, finish is a nice hot pepper but still well restrained,

This beer is very easy to describe: liquid Doritos. That is exactly what it tastes like... exactly. Nothing more and nothing less. If you love Doritos you will love this beer.

Tap at Wynkoop’s in Denver. Pours a gold-orange with a slight haze and thin dissipating white head. Aroma of light chile’s and pepper. Taste of malt, pepper, and smoke. A little bit spicy to the taste. Finishes with a peppery aftertaste.

Light brass colored and pungent of chili that stays in your nose, yet is neither over-powering nor unpleasant. Mild woody, chili flavor that is quite well done. The malt backbone supports the chili flavors. This is a top-notch chili brew.

On tap at the Wynkoop Brew Pub. Poured a medium golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of chili and peppers. Tastes of mainly peppers. Thinner body. Had a light to medium ’hotness’ to the finish. For a chili beer this was quite drinkable.
