| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 4, 2005 Oktoberfest with ale yeast? Could be interesting, but after tasting, you’d as soon think it’s a gimmick to brew faster. Clear copper-red, diminishing off-white head. Husky, cerealic toasted malts dominate the leafy and herbal hops. Slightly fruity in mouth, soda pop like mouthfeel that manages to develop a minor creaminess, but can’t hide the extreme carbonation. Simply not very tasty. CaptainCougar (5526), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma of lightly sweet toasty German malt with good noble hoppy presence. Body is fairly full with a lightly sweet toasty pale maltiness and crisp slightly bitter hoppiness. Very true to style and drinkable.
