Cask. Pours black with brown head that dies off quickly. Nice balance of roast malts and sweetness. Full bodied and flavorful. clean finish. Very solid stout.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a dark beige medium sized head. This was a bit disappointing. The milk sweetness is lost in an odd stale oxidized blur. Roasted, but not to a daring level. Pretty boring try at a milk stout. Left Hand is much better.

On tap at the brewpub on 10/15/07: Pours an opaque black with a dense, frothy light brown nitro head. Sweet milk chocolatey dark caramel malty nose has a touch of grapefruity hops. Body is pretty full with a good malty sweetness and earthy dark chocolate flavor toward a bittersweet slightly sticky finish. A pretty good sweet stout.

Tap @ Wynkoop: Poured an opaque black color with a brown head. The aroma was of milk and dark chocolate. Some roasty notes. Mildly sweet and a little doughy. The flavor was roasty with some sweetness in the middle and drys out some toward the finish. Roasted bitter finish. Light body and light carbonation.
