Sweet and a bit shy roasted-malty nose with toffee, a touch of powdered sugar and distinctive notes of dark and elder berries, accompanied by traces of plastic. Moderately sweet and minimal sugary flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly roasted dark malt character with light berry-fruity notes. Mildly roasted, slightly bitter and salty finish with subtle notes of elder berries in the aftertaste. Drinkable and interesting interpretation of a Schwarzbier (03.XI.08). walkerrosewood (8), , New York, USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 29, 2008 black and a little sweet.
