Nice aroma, full of roasted malt and dark fruits a bit. Wow! This beer is very smooth. It doesn’t have any of that astringency that I normally get from schwarzbiers. I get a sweet malt all over. Almost chocolatey at times. Very nice. Not what you expect going in. azlondon (662), Fribourg, Switzerland

This self-declared black beer was indeed black, and surprisingly smooth. With a slight carmel and chocolate taste, along with a roasty finish, I found this one to be highly drinkable. Highly recommended. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA
