An opaque, full-bodied black lager with mild bitterness. Extravagant treacle and anise aromas. Rich and creamy, well balanced sweet notes and hints of tartness with exceptional mouthfeel, in two words: Black Silk. Imported from Exotic Brazil.

Bottle. Black colour. Bit sweet roasty aroma with some liquorice. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a good roasted maltiness, some liquorice and dark fruits. Tasty brew.

Not a bad drinker. Brown/black color with a small amber head. Aroma is sweet roasted malt. Taste is the same. Minimal bitterness.

Nice solid black brew with a smooth taste. Has a nice golden head. One of the downsides is that it tastes very light. It is malty and balanced with the hops very well. Hazelnut aroma can be triggered by gently mixing the drink.

Bottle. Dark, opaque brown. Tan head. Looked much better than it ended up tasting. light roasted /coffee taste. Too boring, too sweet. Overall, not unpleasant, but I would never go out of my way to try it again.

Served cold from bottle. I was out for Brazillan food tonight and figured I would compliment the meal with a local beer (local meaning Brazilian, not Californian). It poured dark brown with a modest light-brown head. Aroma was mostly malts. Sweet. The taste was also mostly malts, and somewhat bland. Crisp and easy to drink. Not bad. Not good.

Bottle: Dark brown with a modest, creamy tan head. Aroma is mild, mostly malty and roast. Tastes malty, lagerish, and mostly bland. Some wavering hints of dark fruits and a touch of smokiness as it warms. Hmmmm, better now? Still not exceptional or exotic.
