Bartender was a Brazileiro who told me that they only recently began to distribute this in Brazil, it was originally made only for export. Good non-wateryness for a schwarzbier. ElGaucho56 (393), USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 21, 2007 bottle. Poured jet black (surprise) with little tan head that quickly dissipated. Sweet malts on the nose blend with almost rose-like hop notes, molasses. Lager-like clearness and light body, rather thin but to be expected. An unusual curio, though nothing particularly interesting. PLundsgaard (210), Tranbjerg J, Denmark

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 10, 2007 Pours black with small light brown head like a porter or a stout. Aroma is light and little if any roasted smells detected, actually kind of sweet smelling. Woah! What the hell? The taste is very sweet as well my last Schwarzbier didn’t taste nearly this sweet. This has sweet malts but not the roasted, nutty, robust flavor I was expecting. Granted, it wouldn’t be as much as a porter or stout but at least a little something would be nice! Little to no hop profile detected and a bit too thin. Still, this beer is very drinkable and I would have this again.
