Very, very good medium weight dark beer. Just the right amount of carbonation and a full but not overbearing flavor. Great with a meal.

12 oz. bottle. Powerful, sharp, sour Eastern European hops aroma with a hint of sweet chocolate. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a moderate amount of tan head and good lacing. A milk chocolate sweetness dominates the flavor in the initial sips. Further sips reveal a slight roasted coffee taste and surprisingly strong hops bitterness and lemon tartness. Soft and creamy but still lively in the palate. Interesting texture, but I prefer a harder-edged bite in my lagers. Xingu would pair well with chocolate- or lemon-based desserts.

Lots of brown sugar and sweet malt in the aroma.Pours black with a medium tan head.Sweet and roasted malts stand out in the flavor.Thin to medium mouthfeel with a slight bitter finish.

Bottle pours fairly dark, thin and watery, some sweet malts no real hops presence, i guess you could call it a quaffer., cause its so light and easy to drink.

A hint of sweetness greats you as you open this bottle. It pours black, with some dark crimson visible when held up to the light. Almost no head and no lacing. The taste is sweet with a hint of sour in it. Very little carbonation in the mouthfeel, and the palate is somewhat watery. Overall a decent drinkable lager.

Pours muddy black with a small brown head. Aroma is dark bread, roasted malts, and mild coffee, yeasty hints of leather and earth. Flavor starts well balanced and of rosted malts and finishes much the same. Light to medium bodied, watery, softly carbonated with a clean finish.

(Bottle) Pours an opaque black with a small about of light brown head. Aroma is lacking, and is metallic at times. Not very balanced, the sweetness seems a little too overpowering. Still a decent drinking beer. Crisp aftertaste. A little bit of molassas is in here too. It’s OK, but I have had much better examples of the style.

12oz. thin, oily, non-residual head and a cream black hue. predominantly fresh malt aroma, and a little zingy fruit. for a rich pour, it’s a lighter beer. clove, port wine on the midpalate for taste. tastes a bit thin and the finish is rather short. unremarkable at best, but it’s nice to see brazil can play in the same court as sam adams.
