Aug 7, 2006 Bottled (thanks brunnsbe!). Golden colour, foamy white head. Aroma is diacetylic, abit barnyard and some weak honey. Strong honey in flavour, very smooth beer. The strong honey really surprised me. A good quality European Strong Lager, and far from being a doppelbock or trappist...

It is what the Germans might call a Doppel-Bock. Tasting this beer is like tasting best of belgium Trappist beers ! 7,7% alcohol , full body , malty taste , creamy head .... one of the best ’winter warmers’ I tasted !

Sep 13, 2004 Bottle-Thanks Ian for bringing this back from Baku!! Sweetish maltyness, with some grassy edges, there was quite a bit of alcohol showing through in the end, and it made it hard to drink, fairly bland aside from the above mentioned characters, pretty bad.
